I, Joe Kubic, have been taking photographs throughout my life. I started out with pictures of trains some thirty years, have most recently explored photography of wildlife and landscapes. My interest in the outdoors began as a child wandering the back woods of Northeastern Pennsylvania, exploring the mountain tops and valleys of Penobscot and Nescopeck mountains and the streams, lakes and swamps within the Wapwallopen water drainage. Growing up and living in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, bordering the Pocono Mountains Range, has helped me grow to love scenes of forests and valleys. As a hiker and backpacker, I have been exploring most of the Hiking Trails of central and eastern PA and the Appalachian Trail; from Harpers Ferry West Virginia to the Hudson River in NY. I have journeyed the Adirondacks Mountains of upper New York State, the lake region of central Florida and taken several trips to Wyoming’s Tetons National Park and Yellowstone National Park a recent trip to Alaska this past summer. My explorations have helped fulfill a lifelong dream to photograph wildlife and to enjoy life to the fullest each and every day. I hope you enjoy looking through my photographs.
